Using the Skilled Worker Eligibility Tool in Immpact

View the video for a live demonstration on how to use the Skilled Worker Eligibility tool in Immpact.

Scenario: A UK employer have a vacancy for a Cyber Security Analyst.  They wish to know is the role qualifies for a Skilled Worker Visa and if so, what will they need to be paid.

  1. Simply type in the Job Title  which returns a list of job roles.  Select the one most relevant.

  2. Immpact returns job code (SOC code) 2135 Cyber Security Professionals and a job description for employers to measure against their own job description to see if it is a match.  It also gives equivalent SOC codes from prior to the rule changes on 4th April 2024.

  3. Next, you can see the immigration route elibility, if the job role qualifies and most suitable visa route.  In this example the role does qualify for a Skilled Worker Visa.

  4. Then we move on the one of the main questions which was the salary.  Here we can see a breakdown of the annual going rates for a Cyber Security professional job code 2135.  This data is all based on the rule changes of 4th April 2024
